Hire Details

The Pavilion and playing field are primarily used as a sporting venue and home to our local football, cricket and tennis clubs, whose activities take priority. However, the pavilion and/or field can be hired out by the public.

The price to hire our facilities varies depending on whether the event is at the weekend or during the week and is as follows:

There is a 50% discount on the above prices to hire the facilities for half a day.

There is a 25% discount on the above prices for local residents

The Pavilion can be hired by local residents for a charge of £60.00 for a morning or afternoon session to host a childrens’ party (any day apart from Saturday), subject to availability.

The above prices are a guide only. To obtain a quote and to check availability please email us at patterdalekgv@icloud.com and provide the following information:

• Date of proposed event – full day, morning or afternoon hire?

• Will you need to set up/pack up your event the day before or after? What time do you need to access the field/pavilion and when do you expect to leave?

• What type of event is it – wedding/sports day/yoga class?

• Using the table above what are your requirements eg.– hire the pavilion only or exclusive use of the whole field?

• How many people and how many cars do you expect at your event?

• Do you need any tables in the pavilion/need access to the kitchen?

• Are you intending to erect any marquees/event shelters on the field?
  
  

The King George V Playing Field Committee is staffed by volunteers therefore all users of the facilities must leave them as they found them. It is the event organiser/hirers’ responsibility to ensure that the Pavilion kitchen and toilets are thoroughly cleaned prior to departure.
